The Desire (El Deseo)

The Desire (El Deseo)

For a long time, I wanted to wake up earlier — to have quiet moments just for myself before the day began. During the day, my time always went to others: my work, my home, my daughter’s activities, my clients, my business, the house, errands, meals... There was never truly time for me.

I started reading books like The 5 AM Club and Atomic Habits, which talked about the power of early mornings — how that sacred hour before the world wakes up can change your mindset and your energy. I loved the idea of starting the day with meditation and exercise, and I even had moments of success — days when I actually woke up early, meditated, maybe went for a yoga class. But I couldn’t stay consistent. It always lasted a few days, and then… I’d fall back into sleeping in.

Every morning when the alarm rang, I’d tell myself, “Tomorrow,” or, “I didn’t sleep well,” or, “It’s too cold,” or, “I went to the gym yesterday.” Every excuse sounded reasonable — but deep down, I knew I was disappointed in myself. When I finally got out of bed around 7 a.m., I would think, “I wish I had used that hour to meditate or go for my aqua class.” Because those two hours in the morning — moving my body and centering my mind — feel like a precious gift. They make my entire day brighter.

Even though I understood and had experienced the benefits of waking early, something still held me back. I felt trapped in a circle of good intentions that I couldn’t seem to sustain. That’s when I decided to go deeper — to look at what was really behind that resistance.

I began meditating regularly, especially using Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Tuning Into New Potentials. In this meditation, I would visualise myself waking up easily at 5 a.m., feeling peaceful and full of energy, going to my aqua-aerobics class, swimming, or doing yoga — and enjoying every part of it. I meditated on that version of myself for almost six months. At the same time, I worked with my pendulum and used The Emotion Code to release trapped emotions that were keeping me stuck — emotions like guilt, resistance, or fear of change.

And then, something amazing happened. One day, I noticed I was waking up before the alarm — fully awake, peaceful, and ready to go. It felt natural, not forced. That was the moment I realised that all the pieces — the books that inspired me, the meditations that rewired my energy, and the emotional release that cleared the old patterns — had come together. I was free from that loop, and I had finally created what I wanted: my sacred morning routine.

Now, meditation and movement are part of my mornings, and they feel like gifts to myself. It took patience, persistence, and deep emotional work — but I did it. And that’s why I share these stories: to remind others that the change we long for begins inside, one thought, one emotion, and one morning at a time. 🌿
