My Recommendation as a Therapist
In my practice, medium-sized neodymium magnets are an ideal size and often my personal favourite—although they can sometimes be out of stock due to high demand.
I typically recommend them for clients working on more chronic conditions, such as persistent pain, infections, or long-standing imbalances. Their higher strength allows for a more targeted and intensive application when needed.
You don’t need many pairs of these magnets. In fact, I usually suggest combining them with ferrite magnets—using ferrite in larger or general areas (as they are more economical), and reserving neodymium magnets for more specific or problematic zones as guided by your therapist.
In my sessions, I clearly indicate to my clients which areas are best suited for neodymium and which for ferrite, ensuring a balanced and effective approach.
